Jubilant journey to new abodes Michele McLaughlin – Home

Jubilant journey to new abodes Michele McLaughlin – HOME:  It’s been a bit since I reviewed pianist extraordinaire Michele’s “Sketches” album, and there’s a very good reason for that… she and her partner Matt Sojourner were making a jubilant journey to new abodes… first, watch and listen to the trailer for the beautiful title track from the album, “Home“…

…you will find many more of Michele’s albums and performances when you SUBSCRIBE to her YouTube channel… if you are totally in love with solo piano, I most strongly recommend that you do just that… I’ve been there for a LONG time now.

I fell in love immediately with the 2:57 “In Perfect Harmony“… you will be able to feel the beauty of dancing together with similar visions and tastes… I predict that this song will be getting HUGE amounts of airplay on stations around the world!

The wonderful sensation of entertaining friends new and old is perfectly captured on “Welcome“… rich, deep chords paint the joy of gathering together to celebrate life and the living of it on this deeply moving song.

Memories of past owners (and souls) are buried deep in any home, and Michele’s playing on the smoothly flowing “If These Walls Could Talk” brings that energy to life for you… if I were on the nominating committees, this song would definitely be recommended for (and WIN) awards!

A great part of our daily lives is the simplicity and love that can be found in “Joyful Mornings” together… sitting together sharing a cuppa’, or discussing the events of the coming day blesses us in ways more precious than we sometimes realize… Michele captures those feelings masterfully with this beautiful tune.

On my second listen through this mesmerizing solo piano album, it was clear to me that my choice for personal favorite of the dozen delightful songs offered up would be the amazing “Contentment“… Michele’s touch on the keyboard brings the joy of living together right into your living room!

I give Michele a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.99 for this extremely pleasant album.  Get more information on Michele’s BandCamp page for the release.                      Rotcod Zzaj
