Grand sweeping musical magic Matias Baconsky – Epochal

Grand sweeping musical magic Matias Baconsky – EPOCHAL:  When I reviewed pianist Matias’s “When The World Ends“, my entire being was captivated and held in awe… on his new release, he has created the most grand and sweeping musical magic you will ever hear… the music is fully orchestrated, dynamic and truly spirit-renewing… to get a glimpse into the marvelous vistas of creation he has created, I (most STRONGLY) suggest that you watch the video for the award winning (best classical song on the 4th Peace Songs Awards) song “The Immortal” first…

If the glorious strings on this song impressed you as much as they did me, you will want to make sure you SUBSCRIBE to Matias’s YouTube channel (I’ve been there ever since I first reviewed him).

Something that Matias is able to do in a much more stimulating way than many other composers is to reach right out to your ears, and dig down deep into the very fabric of your soul, as you’ll hear on the string-filled “Reason to Believe” (note: the samples won’t be available until much closer to the July 2nd, 2021 official release date)… the 4:24 length of this highly moving performance will make it a favorite for DJ’s of all stripes, I predict… this piece is (without question) the most highly energetic song I have listened to (yet) in 2021!

My online dictionary says that an epoch is “a period of time in history or a person’s life, typically one marked by notable events or particular characteristics“… the stunning heavenly vocals that Matias has woven into “Ambivalence” will be a “marker” in your life… the piano lines are simple enough, but when combined with the high-energy vocals and deeply moving string work, the song becomes as consequential as a total re-birth.

Personal journeys through the war-torn cities of Iraq, as well as the ravages of the pandemic over the last year, certainly help me to understand the need to be with others, and not alone that Matias conveys on the amazing “A Second Chance“… powerful, yet promising, imagery invades my mind as I realize that this is (without question) my personal favorite of the ten tantalizing sonic journeys on the album!

I give Matias a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, as well as a (perfect) “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 5.00 for the beauty he conveys here… which means it also gets a “PICK” for “most powerful orchestral album” from me.  Get more information on Matias’s BandCamp site.                            Rotcod Zzaj
