Dynamic electrifying jazz bass Joseph Patrick Moore – Nevada Sun

Dynamic electrifying jazz bass Joseph Patrick Moore – NEVADA SUN:  With all the albums I get in here for review, it’s often difficult to find one that gets me “really excited”… that’s certainly NOT the case with the dynamic & electrifying jazz bass release from Joseph… you can witness his high talent energy with this clip of the song “Movement Of Light” from the upcoming (April 26th, 2019) super album…

…since you’re right there already, be SURE to SUBSCRIBE to his YouTube channel, where you’ll find MUCH more music from him, too… I did.

In addition to the bass, Joseph played and programmed all the instruments on this album. Everything you hear is Joseph… & it’s just GRAND… don’t just “take my word” for it, either; listen to “Remind Me“, where you’ll hear some of the funkiest jazz bass work you’ll ever listen to… I predict that this tune will be getting MAJOR airplay on stations ’round the globe, so keep your ears out for this super young player!

As you might expect from the title of the inspiring closer, “Spiritual“, the pace is a bit slower, but every note is jam-packed with emotion that may (even) bring a tear to your eye… I can tell you right now, if Joseph’s playing schedule in 2019 includes the Portland, Oregon or Seattle areas, I will make it a point to be there.

I’m a bit more inclined towards bass music that features a bit o’ “poppin'” & “funk”, so it was easy to choose my personal favorite of the eleven great songs Joseph offers up for your listening pleasure… the opener & title track, “Nevada Sun“, just MADE my DAY… I wouldn’t be (at all) surprised to see this piece nominated for (and WINNING) an award… very well crafted and executed!

I give Joseph a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of a (perfect) 5.00… meaning that he also gets my “PICK” for “best bass driven album”.  Get more information about him at the Blue Canoe Records page for the release.           Rotcod Zzaj
