Calming inner piano visions Gina Lenee’ – Revealed

Calming inner piano visions Gina Lenee’ – REVEALED:  When it comes to seeing (and feeling) calming inner piano visions, it just doesn’t get any better than Gina’s newest release (her eighth, by the way)… there will be a video coming soon, and I will add it into the review as soon as Gina gets it to me.  In the meantime, be sure you SUBSCRIBE to her YouTube channel, where you’ll find many more great performances – I did.

The album doesn’t officially release until 2 November, 2019, but you can listen to the beautiful opening track, featuring wonderful horn work from our pal Jeff Oster… “Undeniable” has Gina opening with her keyboard, and Jeff merging his oh-so-soulful horn in at about the :44 mark… absolute sweetness, jam-packed with emotions and one of the best piano performances I’ve heard (yet) in 2019!

You might be able to tell from the list of players ((Charlie Bisharat (violin), Tom Eaton (co-producer, bass guitar), Eugene Friesen (cello), Jeff Haynes (percussion), Jeff Oster (flugelhorn), Premik Russell Tubbs (soprano sax, EWI) and Will Ackerman (producer, acoustic guitar)) that Gina’s new work was recorded in Will Ackerman’s Imaginary Road Studios … if you’re not familiar with those names, this will be a genuine sonic treat for your ears, especially as you listen to the light and airy strains of “Are You Still Dancing”… this piece starts off a bit more slowly than the title would indicate, but when the strings meld in at about the 1:26 mark, it will have you spinning ’round the room, wanting to dance your night away.  If I were on the voting committees, this tune would (surely) be up for (and WIN) awards.

It was one of the shorter pieces (3:06), “Even If I Have To Stand Alone”, that turned out to be my choice for personal favorite of the eleven pieces Gina offers up for your aural enjoyment… I just loved her firm touch on the keyboard on this most memorable performance… I predict this sonic gem will be getting MUCH airplay!

I give Gina and her players a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.99.  Get more information on the Gina Leneé website.           Rotcod Zzaj
