Absolutely unique vocal and bass jazz Shimpei Ogawa Noa Levy – You, Me & Cole

Absolutely unique vocal and bass jazz Shimpei Ogawa Noa Levy – YOU, ME & COLE:  Shimpei’s bouncing bass and Noa’s vivacious vocals will be right up there at the top of your playlists for some time to come, especially when you watch what they’ve created together on the album opener, “I Get A Kick Out Of You“…

…if you enjoyed that as much as I did, you won’t be able to resist; you’ll SUBSCRIBE to Noa’s YouTube channel right away, so you can enjoy many more live performances.

You won’t find samples yet, as the album doesn’t officially release until 10 July, 2020, but I’ll guarantee your heart will jump for joy as you listen to this delicious duo on “Too Darn Hot”… what shines through both the bass and the vocals is that these two just love playing together… DJ’s will love it, too; I predict this tune will get MAJOR airplay!

If you’re looking for something a bit more laid-back (almost melancholy), you’ll totally dig their mellow performance of Porter’s “What Is This Thing Called Love “… this 5:20 gem displays their significant talent and skill in full glory.

Shimpei’s completely unique bass phrasing makes their rendition of “Anything Goes” unlike any version you’ve ever listened to… you’ll be totally captivated by their magic on this piece!

It was one of the shorter songs, clocking in at only 3:40, that won my vote for personal favorite of the ten tunes the duo offers up for your jazz adventure… “So in Love” is one of those performances that will come back into your head over & over again – you’re gonna’ love it just as much as I did.

I give Shimpei and Noa a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.98 for this most enjoyable debut release.   Get more information as it becomes available on Noa’s website.          Rotcod Zzaj
