Lyn Stanley more magical jazz vocals Lyn Stanley – The Moonlight Sessions Volume Two

Lyn Stanley more magical jazz vocals Lyn Stanley – THE MOONLIGHT SESSIONS VOLUME TWO:  I reviewed Volume One, of course, with very high marks, and this one is just as great… even better, I suspect!  This one isn’t officially ready for release until October, 2017, but you can pre-order it on Lyn’s website.   (I’ll come back and add the sample links in when I’m told it’s HOT on the web).

Lyn’s performance on songs like “The Very Thought Of You” will transport you to dreams of your best times… as always (for this reviewer) it’s Lyn’s “pacing” on her vocal work that distinguishes her from “all those other vocalists”… think “Peggy Lee”, albeit in the 21st Century… the ultimate in cool & as I’ve said before – “she makes each tune her own”!

Lyn’s energy on “Smile” is truly infectious, and if you’re not grinning from ear to ear by the time the track ends, there’s something wrong with your ears…. some beautiful harp work from Hendrick Meurkens on this track, as well as some of the silkiest string work you’ll ever listen to.  Romance has never been so desirable, I’ll tell you… Lyn is a true vocal master, no doubt about it!

The real “key” to the songs on this wonderful collection is the variety in the songs Lyn chose to perform… my personal favorite of the fourteen offered up, though, is “Since I Fell For You”… there’s no doubt in my mind that you’ll “fall” for Lyn’s magical jazz style when you hear this one.  I give Lyn and her high-end players a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) rating of 4.99 for this jazz gem.  Visit the aforementioned site for Lyn to pre-order and learn more about her.        Rotcod Zzaj
