There are a lot of standards on the album, but the album also features “Feel The Love“, a 4:01 original she wrote… it just bubbles with life… the recording quality is top-of-the-line, and will be a big hit with jazz vocal fans ’round the globe!
The upbeat performance on “No Regrets” is most assuredly one of my favorite jazz vocal performances (yet) in 2018, and Ron’s guitar (he’s her dad, by the way) work is just amazing on this tune.
This all started with an Indiegogo project (which I was a proud contributor to), and it quickly became apparent that she already had enough fans to meet the goals… I’ve no doubt that performances like my personal favorite on the album, Ellington’s “Sophisticated Lady”, generated a lot of the excitement for her rich and soulful singing!
