Whirlwind singer will wow you Patrick Barnitt – Sway

Whirlwind singer will wow you Patrick Barnitt – SWAY:  This is my first experience with Patrick’s ultra-cool (& highly hip) vocal work… he doesn’t confine himself to any one style; real variety here… take a moment to watch him in this video from an earlier performance of a Frank Sinatra tune….

…ain’t that sweet?  Be sure to SUBSCRIBE to Patrick’s YouTube channel, where you’ll find many more video performances.

If your ears are thirsting for some “upbeat”, you’re going to totally DIG Patrick’s performance of “Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is” (a Chicago tune, I believe)… (no samples yet, as the album doesn’t release until early July, 2019)… at any rate, this one swings like a metronome on acid, folks!  I loved it, & believe it will be getting some major airplay!

You remember, I mentioned variety?  Patrick just KILLS IT on “Touch Me” (Doors)… the Paul McDonald Big Band is strong & roaring behind Patrick’s vocal… just excellent… you won’t hear a performance of this classic more unique than this one.

The title track, “Sway”, has some superb Latin flavor going on, and Patrick makes the tune his own, to be sure; you’ll be dancing ’round the ballroom all night for this tune.

Of the thirteen tasty songs offered up, my personal favorite is a Patrick original coauthored by Paul… “ACL Blues” will ROCK your house… pull out those blue suede shoes & you’ll be HOPPIN’, just like Patrick & the band do!

I give Patrick & his players a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.98 for this well-rounded release.  Get more information on Patrick’s website.         Rotcod Zzaj
