Unbounded refreshing piano solo Stephen Wallack – Wondering

Unbounded refreshing piano solo Stephen Wallack – WONDERING:  I’ve been reviewing Stephen’s unbounded refreshing piano works ever since he started releasing albums, most recently on his “Colors” album, where he got high marks from me.  You won’t find videos or samples yet, as the new album doesn’t go live until October 14th, 2022.

The 5:24 “Castles” is definitely among the best solo piano songs I’ve heard (yet) in 2022… you can see the moats around the grand and glorious structure rising to infinity in your mind’s eye.  I predict this song will be getting a LOT of airplay in the coming months!

Memory is a powerful tool for all of us, and Stephen captures the essence of that power in “Remember”… he uses the full range of his keyboard to stir our emotions and bring back those memories on this beautiful song.

“Games” is one of the shorter pieces, clocking in at only 3:56, but it’s bound for an award, I’ll tell you right now… full of movement and motion, with a wild sense of abandon, you’ll be playing this song over and over again!

I had no doubt that my choice for personal favorite of the ten tantalizing tunes Stephen offers up for us would be the opener, “Beyond”… his masterful piano style is fully evident on this reflective piano piece, and I fell in love with it right away.

I give Stephen a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.99 for this excellent album.  Get more information on Stephen’s website.                      Rotcod Zzaj
