Sweetly sensuous solo piano Dan Costa – Live In California

Sweetly sensuous solo piano Dan Costa – LIVE IN CALIFORNIA:  This is actually my first listen to Dan’s sweetly sensuous solo piano, and I’m already looking forward to more… though I didn’t see live videos from the current album, you’ll enjoy watching him play LIVE in Cairo…

…since you’re on YouTube already, be sure you SUBSCRIBE to Dan’s YouTube channel, where you’ll find many more live performances and cuts from his albums.

Some of you know it already, others don’t – I used to play and record my own keyboard work (during the ’80’s and ’90’s), so I have a particular fondness for well-played solo piano… you won’t find any more interesting piano than what you hear as Dan plays his own very unique version of Jobim’s “Garota De Ipanema” (Girl From Ipanema) (samples not available yet; I’ll add them as soon as I’m told the album has gone live)… his keyboard style is very relaxed, yet rich and full… DJ’s will be falling in love with this and plugging it into their playlists often!

Dan’s original composition on the splendid opener, “Baiao”, will bring you visions of swirling Latin dancers in all their glorious energy… a truly lively song that I already find myself spinning over and over again.

It only took me a few seconds to make my choice for personal favorite of the eight exciting songs Dan offers up… on another original by him, “Sete Enredos”, he makes use of the full range of his keyboard, and easily draws you into his spell… the recording is pure, and Dan’s exuberance just shines through!

I give Dan a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.98.  Get more information (and pre-order) on Dan’s page for the releaseRotcod Zzaj
