Splendid tasteful jazz vocals Denise Mangiardi – Brown Book

Splendid tasteful jazz vocals Denise Mangiardi – BROWN BOOK:  When it comes to vocal masterpieces, there are none (BAR none) better than the splendid and tasteful jazz vocals Denise Mangiardi offers up for your aural adventure on her new release, “Brown Book“… watch her perform it live as a solo first…

…if you enjoyed that deeply moving video, be sure you SUBSCRIBE to Denise’s YouTube channel – I did.

Denise is multi-talented, to be sure… her beautiful vocal on “Waves“, against the shimmering strings that accompany her, will stir your emotions and spur you to listen over and over again… I have no doubt that DJ’s (on stations of all sorts) will be spinning this in a MAJOR way!

The bass intro on “The Exchange” is just superb and segues ever-so-nicely into a full-bodied jazz composition that you won’t soon forget… in addition to Denise’s excellent vocals, you’ll also hear Jay Anderson on iBass; Mark Soskin doing piano; Jeff Boudreaux’s drums and Tony DaGradi’s soprano, with strings recorded by the Bratislava Symphony Orchestra (conducted by Allan Wilson).

It was the lively blues-oriented “Day Time Kind of Girl” that got my vote for personal favorite of the ten tantalizing tunes offered up for your jazz pleasure… a real undercurrent of blues & swing will have you swaying your hips all ’round the floor!

I give Denise and all her musical cohorts a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.98 for this fine release.  Get more information on Denise’s website.              Rotcod Zzaj
