Rowdy spirited big band jazz Brokys on Band – Las Vegas Experience Live video review

Rowdy spirited big band jazz Brokys on Band – LAS VEGAS EXPERIENCE LIVE:  I’m gonna’ step right up and tell you this… you have NEVER heard rowdy & spirited big band like this… a whole host of high-energy players from San Juan, Puerto Rico are the core of this superb group… vocals are by Glenn Monroig, Luis Enrique and Roberto Sueiro and the players are piano Luis Marin, guitar Jorge Laboy, bass Junior Irizarry, drums Efrain Martinez, Musical Director Cucco Peña, joined by a full band orchestra, and you’re not going to believe your ears!  Before I move on to writing a few words about this full-album, just pull this video up, kick back and enjoy their lively performances…

…what’d I tell you?  Isn’t that some of the HOTTEST big band jazz you’ve ever heard?  Be sure to SUBSCRIBE to BOB’s abundant and lively YouTube channel, since you’re there anyway… you’ll find a LOT of very cool videos.

Their performance of Ray Charles’ “Georgia On My Mind” (featuring Luis’s vocal) at the 14:49 mark on the main video is (absolutely) the most soulful rendition I’ve ever listened to (other than Ray’s, of course, lol)… I have no doubt that jazz and R&B DJ’s the world over will be adding this to their playlists for regular spins!

The opening segment features BOB’s skillful interpretation of Sammy Cahn’s “Come Fly With Me” (about the 5:45 mark) absolutely brings the house down… the video quality is PURE perfection, and will make your jazz day.

Roberto’s jumpin’ performance on Jim Croce’s “Bad Bad Leroy Brown” will SMOKE you… he certainly had the audience in the palm of his hands… since I’m a keyboardist, I couldn’t help but notice that the song has some great organ work, too!

Ellington & Strayhorn would be totally proud to listen to BOB’s stunning rendition of “Take The A Train“… a full 6:29 length made this a tune that was an “instant HIT” for me… it earned a place on my iPhone player, too.

I give Brokys on Band a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.99.  Get more information on the BOB web site.      Rotcod Zzaj
