Supremely healing piano Rhonda Mackert – Time Not Forgotten

Supremely healing piano Rhonda Mackert – TIME NOT FORGOTTEN:  There is (most assuredly) magic in Rhonda’s supremely healing touch on her piano… before I go into the songs on her new album, I (very strongly) recommend that you watch & listen carefully to her live performance at 2017’s “Whisperings All Star concert”…

…OH, the overtones she achieves on that video… since Rhonda lives in Seattle, I’m going to make a point of getting up that way to see her – soon!

The samples for the new album aren’t ready yet (it releases on May 1st), but when I’m told they are ready, I’ll come back and add the links in… those overtones I mentioned are present in full glory on the captivating 3:52 title track, “Time Not Forgotten”… Rhonda’s full-bodied approach and masterful touch on this piece will rejuvenate your ears with the soothing tones she creates through her piano.

Rhonda started piano lessons at the tender age of eight, switching briefly to flute, but now as an adult, she feels more freedom on the keyboard – and, you’ll hear that high-floating spirit shine through on the wonderful “Dreaming of Sedona”… the recording quality (and the piano) is excellent!

The joy of one of my favorite childhood pastimes shines through Rhonda’s high-register notes on “Skipping Stones”, and brings me many pleasant memories of spring and summer by the creeks and rivers in the backwoods of Pennsylvania where I grew up.

I just loved Rhonda’s deep left-hand tones on “Walking Among Giants”, and her strong movements over the entire keyboard make this one of the most meaningful and evocative solo piano pieces I’ve listened to (yet) in 2018.

If you listen closely to my personal favorite of the twelve tunes Rhonda performs for you, “Chasing Fireflies”, you will again be transported back to the dusky delights of your youth… she skillfully uses her right-hand to bring that experience back to life for you.  A simple, yet wonderful, song!

I give Rhonda a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) rating of 4.98 for this finely crafted solo piano set.  Get more information at Rhonda’s website.         Rotcod Zzaj
