Multifaceted mesmerizing jazz piano Ernest Turner – My Americana

Multifaceted mesmerizing jazz piano Ernest Turner – MY AMERICANA:  There are “unsung” jazz heroes all across the planet today, & Ernest’s multifaceted and mesmerizing jazz piano work certainly is in that category… you WILL be a believer when you watch Ernest in action on the opener for this fantastic album, “Return of Thanos” (different players than on the album)…

…the KEY here is the scorching piano energy that Ernest creates for the viewer/listener… you can watch many more high-energy performances when you SUBSCRIBE to Ernest’s YouTube channel, too.

On the actual release, Ernest’s wonderful piano is joined by bassist Lance Scott and drummer Jon Curry, and as you listen to their beautiful 7:20 rendition of Stevie Wonder’s “If It’s Magic“, your ears will realize that they are in the presence of pure musical genius… I predict that this piece WILL get MAJOR airplay!

I can promise you that you have never heard a sweeter version of Fats Waller’s “Ain’t Misbehavin‘” than Ernest & his players perform on this release… “unique” is the keyword, no doubt.

Of the nine tunes Ernest & his trio offer up for your jazz pleasure, it was easy to pick my personal favorite… “Monk’s Dream” gives you fresh insights on the free-wheeling piano of Thelonius, and shows Turner in his own “genius mode”… if any song is worthy of an award – it’s this one!

I give Ernest & his magnificent trio a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.99… this is an album you MUST have in your collection.  Learn more about this fascinating player at Ernest’s website.        Rotcod Zzaj
