Magically melodic guitar jazz Reza Khan – Imaginary Road

Magically melodic guitar jazz Reza Khan – IMAGINARY ROAD:  This wonderful album won’t be officially released until 26 March, 2021, so it will be just before then when samples are available… in the meantime, I can tell you (without qualification) that this magically melodic guitar jazz is among the very BEST albums I’ve listened to (yet) in 2021… here’s an older clip of Reza performing live, just so you can get a feel for his style…

If you SUBSCRIBE to Reza’s YouTube topic channel, you’ll find other performances to enjoy… he also has several posted on the VIDEO page of his website.

Reza put together an absolutely stunning player lineup for this album… Guitars: Nylon and Electric Guitar: Reza Khan, Rhythm Guitar & Classical: Sergio Pereira, Electric Lead Guitar: Miles Gilderdale, Strings and Wind Instruments: David Mann Rhythm Section: Drums: Maurizio Zottarelli, Bass: Mark Egan, Percussion: Fernando Saci Keyboards and Sound Design: Piano: Matt King, Synth, Moog, Melodion and Mallets: Philippe Saisse… DJ’s around the globe will be plugging tunes like “Midnight Runner” in for regular airplay – there’s a real sense of floating through the dark night on this piece that I particularly loved!

The closing title track, “Imaginary Road”, has some excellent keyboard work and feels just like you might imagine a road trip to be as you move on through your life.

Reza’s guitar work is totally unique, and impossible to pigeonhole… that was especially noticeable on tunes like “Neo Funk”… I knew as soon as I listened through the album the first time that it would be my personal favorite of the ten offered up… this is truly “jazz for the 21st Century”!

I give Reza and his players a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.98 for this grand jazz excursion.  Get more information and pre-order on Reza’s product page for the album.                             Rotcod Zzaj
