Lovely hopeful serene sonic journeys Carl Borden – Beyond The Sunrise

Lovely hopeful serene sonic journeys Carl Borden – BEYOND THE SUNRISE:  Carl is a “new” artist for me, but I can tell you right now that he’s going to be a major force in music… to get some deeper insight, watch the in-depth interview between Carl and Michael Whalen (one of our favorite artists, and General Manage of Myndstream)…

…you will find a “teaser” for the new album, as well as a few other video performances when you SUBSCRIBE to Carl’s YouTube channel – as I did.

You won’t find samples up yet, as the album doesn’t officially release until 14 August, 2020 (I’ll come back and add them in as soon as I’m told it’s gone HOT)… you need to know, though, that on songs like the full-bodied “Walk With Me”, Carl displays the kind of musical understanding and appreciation of sonic beauty that his peers can only envy… if any song should be nominated for (and WIN) an award – it is this one!

Deep drone serves as the opening to “City of Dreams”, and the percussion elements are somewhat stealthy (at first), but as this 6:01 masterpiece unfolds, you will have vibrant visions of the cities of tomorrow you yearn for… what the song inspires more than anything else is hope for our future.

A talent that all creative artists must have with this type of music is an ability to “see” what they are playing, and convey images that will help the listener feel the love… “At First Light” does exactly that… I expect that radio jockeys all ’round the planet will zoom in on this piece and air it often… sheer beauty!

You’ll want to put your headphones on as you listen to “Drifting Stars”, and prepare to SOAR through the heavens in sheer ecstasy – this is (without a doubt) my personal favorite of the ten tantalizing tunes Carl offers up for our listening pleasure.

I believe that Carl’s music is going to emerge as a force to be reckoned with in the coming months and years… I give him a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.99 for this wonderful album.  Get more information as it becomes available on Carl’s Myndstream page.                             Rotcod Zzaj
