inventive, imaginative, inspiring improvisations Rachel Eckroth and John Hadfield – SPEAKING IN TONGUES:  This is our first listen to Rachel’s piano and John’s drums/percussion, and it (certainly) won’t be our last… if you’re looking for inventive, imaginative and inspiring improvisation, they have created it here for you… watch and listen to the totally engaging “And Libration” to get a sense of the magic that awaits for you…

Follow my lead and SUBSCRIBE to Rachel’s YouTube channel, where you’ll find many more captivating performances to enjoy (over 50).

The 4:13 album opener, “God Particle“, clearly shows the duo’s love of creating and playing together… this is the kind of song that will have you returning again and again (and AGAIN)… deep and mysterious, yet totally accessible… I absolutely LOVED this song!

On my first listen to the title track, “Speaking In Tongues”, I knew (beyond all doubt) that it would be my personal favorite of the ten tantalizing tunes offered up… Rachel’s keyboard is absolutely alive and full of energy, and John’s drums compliment her high-talent playing perfectly.  This song alone is worth the purchase of the album.

The official release happens on February 28th, 2025, so you may not find a lot of the tracks available yet… in the meantime, keep your eyes on Rachel’s album page… I’m sure the album will be posted on her Spotify page, below, as it comes closer to the release date…
