His new release, due out officially on 13 October, 2023, is his 12th album. No videos were available for the new release, but to get a feel for his dynamic skills, I highly recommend that you watch this earlier video first…

In addition to Shawn’s superb alto/soprano sax and flute work, you’ll also hear Collin Clauson on nord, Michael Barton doing bass and Greg Essig on drums and percussion… I totally dug all eight tunes, but found the spooky (and somewhat unsettling) “Ghost Mall on Jefferson” to be my personal favorite.. full-bodied and oblique!
