Flashpoint funk rock jazz Bernie Mora and Tangent – No Agenda

Flashpoint funk rock jazz Bernie Mora and Tangent – NO AGENDA:  Bernie’s high-energy guitar work are joined by players Charles Godfrey-drums & percussion, Daniel Becker-bass & acoustic 12 string, Doug Webb-saxes & fluts, Corey Alley-keyboards, Lee Thornberg-trumpets & trombone, Guest Artists-Eric Unsworth-fretless bass (It’s A Honu World), Leilani Rivera Low-Hawaiian Chant on It’s A Honu World, and I’ll tell you right now – they ROCK IT… a highly entertaining collection of flashpoint funk, rock & jazz that will capture your attention right away… here’s a video from a performance of the group (several years back) that will give you an idea of just how volatile their performances are…

…I (most STRONGLY) recommend that you SUBSCRIBE to Bernie’s channel if you’re thrilled by music that knows no bounds; LOTS of great performances there, too… I subscribed right away.

I was especially attracted to tunes like the horn-filled “Commando Roll” (no samples available yet; I’ll come back and add as soon as I’m told this has gone live)… from the moment the tune starts, it’s “balls to the wall” movement… definitely one of the best high-energy tunes I’ve listened to (yet) in 2019… I predict this one will be getting TONS of airplay!

Are your ears in the mood for some “Tower-of-Power”-like git-down FONK?  You’re gonna’ totally DIG on “Pale Moon Funk”… the guitar leads are just KILLER on this one, too.

The title track, “No Agenda”, has guitar right at the front, and will have you (and your ears) SOARING into the nether regions…

Of the nine tunes offered up for our aural pleasure, it is (definitely) the killer performances on “Cup a Joe” that got my vote for personal favorite… again, Bernie’s guitar just TAKES you OUT there!

I give Bernie Mora and Tangent a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.98.  Get more information about this superb group on their Facebook page.            Rotcod Zzaj
