Fantastic memories of freedom Kluane Takhini – When We Were Free single review

Fantastic memories of freedom Kluane Takhini – WHEN WE WERE FREE:  My friend Kluane always creates songs that touch hearts, and on this excellent single, he brings back fantastic memories of freedom that will stir your soul… you can watch and listen to this amazing tune here…

I (most strongly) recommend that you SUBSCRIBE to Kluane’s YouTube channel, where you’ll find many more beautiful videos.

The strong and soulful vocal on this song is by Tony Mac, and the stunning video sequences are by Kluane’s friend Devinda Mahasen from Sri Lanka… what stands out most prominently in both the song and the visuals is the power of spirit… the spirit of the power that WE have when we do things together!

I fell in love immediately with the piano, guitar, saxophone and (especially) the organ on this deeply moving original performance… one of the lines that continues to thrill me is “don’t talk of truth, then tell me not to speak“… though it’s not a “protest” song, per se, it certainly encourages us to “fight the lies” – and that’s a message we all need in these times of alternate realities!

There was no question in my mind when I first reviewed Kluane’s “To Catch Lightning In A Bottle” that he is one of the most passionate composers in our world today, and this new song convinces me I was right… Kluane and Tony get a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with a (perfect) “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 5.00 – which also means that he gets a “PICK” from me for “most powerful single in 2021”.  Get more information on Kluane’s website.                                 Rotcod Zzaj
