Extraordinarily elegant solo guitar Dan Rose – Last Night

Extraordinarily elegant solo guitar Dan Rose – LAST NIGHT:  This is my first experience with Dan’s extraordinarily elegant solo guitar work… only two bars in and my ears are thrilled… you will find several of the songs from the album when you SUBSCRIBE to Dan’s YouTube channel… like the title track “Last Night When We Were Young“…

In Dan’s most capable hands, these jazz classics literally “come to life again”… his performance of “Tenderly” is laid-back, but truly elegant and full of life… the recording is flawless… this will be a song that jazz DJ’s the world over plug in to playlists frequently!

Dan makes Richard Rodgers’s enchanting “Spring Is Here” his own with his full-bodied chords and perfect pacing… I can honestly say that this is the best solo guitar performance I’ve heard (yet) in 2021.

The opening track alone makes the album well worth adding to your collection… slow and comforting guitar on Dan’s performance for “Body And Soul” will transport you ever-so-gently to the land where jazz is king… this is (unquestionably) my choice for personal favorite of the thirteen Dan offers up!

I give Dan a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.98 for this little gem.  Get more information on the Ride Symbol Records page for the release.                                                   Rotcod Zzaj
