Ethereal beauty sweet Michelle Qureshi – Silver Chord

Ethereal beauty sweet Michelle Qureshi – SILVER CHORD:  If you look up the definition for “ethereal“, you’ll find the perfect description for Michelle’s latest release… the beauty projected on compositions like the 5:31 “Give Us This Day” will transport you to new realms in the ethosphere… a simple, yet magical, sonic experience.

Though it’s not a “live” recording, there is an absolutely STUNNING video of “Lovely Light” on YouTube (produced by our friends at HEARTDANCE Records) , and I most highly recommend that you watch it now… this track also features David Helpling…

…and, since you’re there already, be sure you SUBSCRIBE to Michelle’s YouTube channel, where you’ll find much more music.  The angelic vocals that are woven in, around and throughout this song make it well worth the purchase of the album.

I’ve reviewed a lot of Michelle’s music, most recently in issue # 167, and I can say with certainty that this new album will amaze you, particularly on songs like the otherworldly “Shadows and Light“… you (really) need to listen to this deeply moving piece with your headphones firmly anchored ’round your ears… this is an easy “award winner”, and I predict you’ll see it nominated (and declared the WINNER it is)!

It is the lush sound of strings and subtle integration of magical guitars on the 6:46 “Garden Late Afternoon” that made it my personal favorite of the eight offered up… this piece will help you connect to the universe in ways you’ve never before imagined.

I give Michelle a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, with a (perfect) “EQ” (energy quotient) rating of 5.00; that means, of course, that it also gets my “PICK” for “best ambient soundscapes”.  Get more information on Michelle’s website.       Rotcod Zzaj
