Louis’s piano is joined by Joey Glassman on bowed vibraphone, Danny Masters playing guitar and Tad Michael Wheeler playing handpan on the opening track, “The River“… as I said in my review of “Four Days In My Life“, his keyboards on this piece are always full-bodied and full of the wonders that life can provide!
On the beautifully calming 4:16 “Gentle Rain“, Louis paints images of that rain for you most splendidly… if I were on the judging panels, this song would definitely be nominated for (and WIN) awards.
The mysterious tones Louis uses on the title track, “Contemplation“, made it my personal favorite of the ten songs offered up for your aural adventure… the pacing on this tune is perfect, and the recording is flawless!
