Delightful jazz vocal debut Sue Anne Gershenzon – You Must Believe In Spring

Delightful jazz vocal debut Sue Anne Gershenzon – YOU MUST BELIEVE IN SPRING:   What a powerful and delightful jazz vocal debut effort from Sue Anne… you’ll be an instant believer in her so-sweet skills as you dig down deep into her rendition of the Cole/Mills jazz classic “Straighten Up And Fly Right“… just superb, and since it only clocks in at 2:43, it will (I predict) be a total favorite for jazz DJ’s ’round the world.

You’ll find yourself totally enchanted as you watch and listen to Sue Anne’s splendid vocal performance of “East of the Sun”, oh-so-tastefully supported by Glafkos Kontemeniotis Piano and Arrangements; Joel Frahm Tenor Saxophone; Ryan Keberle Trombone; Sean Smith Bass; Dave Meade Drums; Brandon Vazquez Trumpet; Megan Gould Violin; Karen Waltuch Viola and Noah Heffeld Cello..

…you’ll want to be sure you SUBSCRIBE to Sue Anne’s YouTube channel, where you’ll find many more performances.

The recording on the mighty hip opener, “I Thought About You“, will have you thinking about romances past and/or present, no doubt… Ryan’s trombone on this one is just superb!

I had no doubt what my choice for personal favorite of the eleven tunes Sue Anne and her mates offer up for this jaunty jazz journey… her rendition of “The Fool On The Hill” is the BEST I’ve ever heard (and that’s saying something, ‘coz I’ve heard it a million times)… some beautiful interplay between the instruments make this a tune you’ll find yourself listening to over & over (& OVER) again.

I give Sue Anne and all her players a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.98 for this fine jazz debut album.  Get more information, listen and purchase on Sue Anne’s Bandcamp page for the release.    Rotcod Zzaj
