Deliciously diverse jazz vocals Rebecca DuMaine and the Dave Miller Trio – Someday, Someday

Deliciously diverse jazz vocals Rebecca DuMaine and the Dave Miller Trio – SOMEDAY, SOMEDAY:  When I first reviewed Rebecca’s “Chez Nous” album a couple years back, I didn’t realize that she and Dave are daughter & dad… here’s an original from Rebecca called “Time To Get Unstuck” (samples won’t go live for a couple more weeks; release date is March 12th, 2021) with Dave on piano to enjoy before I jump into the album review…

You’ll find many more LIVE videos to enjoy when you SUBSCRIBE to Rebecca’s YouTube channel, too.

Dave’s trio does a wonderful job of supporting Rebecca’s Latin-flavored “Samba de Mon Coeur Qui Bat” (Samba of my Beating Heart)… high-energy playing and flawless recording make this just the kind of tune that DJ’s everywhere will be plugging in for repeated airplay!

Rebecca’s performance of Joni Mitchell’s “Both Sides Now” is already a favorite here in my Morning Calm review studio… she has a rich and deep tone in her vocal that makes it most attractive.

The upbeat closer, “Sunny“, will have you up & dancing ’round your room – just like I’m doing right now (with my headphones on, of course)!

Of the fourteen tantalizing tunes Rebecca offers up for our jazz journey, I found her original title track, “Someday, Someday“, was my choice for personal favorite… distinctive Latin rhythms and lively percussion make it a most memorable experience.

I give Rebecca and Dave’s trio a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.98.  Get more information as it becomes available on Rebecca’s website.              Rotcod Zzaj
