brilliantly balanced jazz sophistication Ben Patterson Jazz Orchestra – Mad Scientist Music

brilliantly balanced jazz sophistication Ben Patterson Jazz Orchestra – MAD SCIENTIST MUSIC:  The player list is far too long to itemize here, but you can find it at Bandcamp.  This album is one of the most brilliantly balanced jazz albums I’ve ever listened to… it releases officially on 31 March, 2025; you’ll find the following video gives you strong insight into Ben’s playing…

Several other videos are available for you to enjoy on Ben’s 2manEbones YouTube page, as well… be sure you SUBSCRIBE, too.

If you’re craving the ultimate in hip, you’ll find the 7:23 “The Mixup” fills that bill very nicely… unpredictable, yet totally accessible… you’ll find yourself grooving right along on every note!

From my perspective, it was (unquestionably) the 6:27 closer, “Just ‘Cuz“, that got my vote for personal favorite of the six superb (and long) originals Ben and crew offer up for this incredible jazz journey… some amazing playing from all the players on this tune.

The Ben Patterson Jazz Orchestra is totally unique an merits a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, as well as an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.99 for this high-energy, high-talent release.  Get more information on Ben’s website, or purchase the album (or CD) on the Bandcamp page for the release…
