Brilliant live piano performance Edo Sanz video critique – Always

Brilliant live piano performance Edo Sanz video critique – ALWAYS:  True talent on the piano keyboard is seldom as powerful as Edo displays for us in his new August, 2018 video… do your ears a favor and watch this all the way from the “setup” shots all the way through to the end…

I hope you took note of his powerful left-hand technique (right at the 1:18 mark, in particular)… the piano itself is a beauty, and Edo uses the soundboard masterfully to create and sustain overtones that will touch your heart deeply.  Since you’re right there already, be sure to SUBSCRIBE to Edo’s YouTube channel, where you’ll find more excellent videos.

The recording quality on this one is top-of-the-line; I especially liked the interactions that were filmed before Edo sits down to play the song… it was shot at Estudio 13, in Ciudad de Mexico, and is packed full with the excitement of getting ready to perform, sound checks, greetings, hugs and all.  This is one of the most invigorating and satisfying solo piano videos I have watched/reviewed (yet) in 2018!

Though Edo hasn’t been on my site before, I’m fully expecting to see and hear much more from him over the coming months… he credits his wife Laus with pushing him to “leave the shadows and share the music in his soul“.  I can tell you right now that his music in his video will stir the passion in your heart… you’re going to love his playing as much as I did.  I give Edo a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) rating of 4.99; to learn more about him, visit the Edo Sanz website.          Rotcod Zzaj
