Their power together is palpable, as you will witness on the deeply satisfying “Gate Heart Mantra” – my primary advice for this album is that you listen (at least for your first sitting) with your headphones on; you’ll want to immerse yourself in Caro’s beautiful vocals on this piece. I believe this composition will be nominated for an award – and (easily) WIN it.
It is the intricate percussion and vivacious vocal weave that Caro performs with on “Har Hari” that make it my personal favorite of the ten (long) songs (over an hour) offered up for your enlightenment and aural pleasure. This song also made the album one of my favorites (yet) in 2018.
