Stunning contemporary piano originals Anne Trenning – Beautiful Song

Stunning contemporary piano originals Anne Trenning – BEAUTIFUL SONG:  It is amazing to me how the circles we travel in intersect again and again… I first started reviewing Anne’s truly inspiring piano work way back in issue # 88, and she got high marks from me then, to be sure… on this new (February, 2018) recording, she has a whole host of players, many of whom have been reviewed here, with her… Rick Dior PERCUSSION; Jane Brendle VIOLIN; Bill Leslie CELTIC FLUTE; John Magnie ACCORDION; James Todd CELLO; David Meyer CELLO; Jeff Oster FLUGELHORN; Jennifer Dior FLUTE; Fred Hiscock TENOR SAXOPHONE; Brandon Bush ACCORDION; Ciro Hurtado GUITAR; Mark Schimick MANDOLIN and Josh Daniel GUITAR… her original compositions and playing style are the epitome of “contemporary” music, and appeal to folks in all walks and circles of life most strongly!

One of the songs that was most joyful is the 3:25 “It’s A Great Day To Be Alive“, and I suggest (most strongly) that you watch the video they put together for this tune…

…if this song doesn’t inspire you to “get your joy on” – you’re beyond rescue… what an absolutely fun song!  Since you’re already on Anne’s YouTube channel, be sure and SUBSCRIBE to it while you’re there!

The organ work on “Hard Times Come No More” is pure perfection (to my ears, anyway)… a bit of melancholy, for sure, but as you listen to it over and over again, you’ll realize that what it really portrays is HOPE… this song certainly merits strong consideration for an award, I believe!

When Jeff’s magical horn blends into Anne’s original composition, “Do I Hear Christmas“, at the :30 second mark, the tune will help you realize the wonder of the season – even if it’s in July… total beauty on this song – it will be playing over and over again on my iPhone.

It is another of Anne’s original songs that brought the spirit she is playing in all home for me… “If I Could Be With You” has each of the players subtly/seamlessly integrated in with her wonderful piano, and the overtones realized on the keyboard are among the best I’ve heard (yet) in 2018; my personal favorite of the eleven offered up for your aural pleasure!

This is the kind of music that you’ll find yourself enchanted by each time you listen through it, and discovering little nuances you hadn’t noticed before… I give Anne and her high-talent players a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) rating of 4.99.  To learn more about this talented artist, visit Anne’s website right away.           Rotcod Zzaj
