Maxx the Muffin Man jazzy rap tracks Maxx the Muffin Man – Every Summer Since EP *EXPLICIT*

Maxx the Muffin Man jazzy rap tracks Maxx the Muffin Man – EVERY SUMMER SINCE EP:  This one DOES have some “language”… Maxx is aka Maxx Wright, & he’s just down th’ road from me in Portland, Oregon… this is his second mixtape, & the only (real) reason I selected his work for review is because he has a real feel for words… as you listen to tunes like “Match Box“, you’ll hear that he has some excellent potential, because of his ability to “tell the story”.

His rap about “Sunday Suede” brought back memories of some things I wished I’d had the ability to convey as strongly as he does on this song (back in th’ day, when I was his age, lol)… now, you won’t “get that” unless you were a preacher’s kid (like me).

Maxx even displays some real talent for integrating a sort of “jazz” into his beats on “Wishing The Daze“… in fact, what I’d really like to see is a LIVE VIDEO of this song on YouTube… maybe on the next, EP, eh, Maxx?

It’s actually the title track for the EP, “Every Summer Since“, that won my vote for personal favorite of the ten jazzy rap tracks he offers up… some excellent integrations of soul singers on this one.

I give Maxx a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) rating of 4.97 for this release… keep your ears on this dude… you’ll be hearing more from him soon… get to know him on his Facebook page.         Rotcod Zzaj
