The Great Escape alternative holiday spirit video The Great Escape – Season of Love

The Great Escape alternative holiday spirit video The Great Escape – SEASON OF LOVE:  It’s only a “short”, but this fine little video from California struck a chord with my heartstrings the moment I started spinning it…

I expect it’s the “old-style” 8mm video this was shot in that drew my eyes & ears to it… & the band is using this to try an drive donations to St. Joseph Center, in Venice, California… they help the homeless in California, & they’re holding a fund drive to support that… go visit the St. Joseph Center donation page to get all the details on how you can help them (I did, so you know it’s a worthwhile effort).

The band has a certain ’60’s kind of charm displayed in full glory on this video, so if you want to “get in the spirit of the season”, this is a perfect way to do it.  They have a real “wow” lineup, too… Vocals: Ingrid Andersson; Drums & Bass: Kristian Nord; Guitars: Malte Hagemeister; Backing vocals: Kiley Dean, Malte Hagemeister, Kristian Nord; Horns: The Wild Rebel Horns (@Marco Marco Palos on Sax, Corey Simmons on Trombone, and Mike Rocha on trumpet); Keys: Mike Bolger; Mixed by Ryan Hewitt; Mastered by Brian Lucey

I give The Great Escape a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) rating of 4.97 for this inspiring video.  You can learn more about this fine band at The Great Escape website.         Rotcod Zzaj
