Glenn Crytzer classic reimagined big band jazz Glenn Crytzer – Ain’t It Grand

Glenn Crytzer classic reimagined big band jazz  – AIN’T IT GRAND:  If classic and rousing big band jazz is what gets your motor running, then Glenn’s double CD will be your pleasure of the day, to be sure… as you watch their performance of “Rhythm Is Our Business“, you’ll be lookin’ over your shoulder for Dick Tracy, or the mugs Dick chases through the wild streets of Gotham, lol…

Their live performance on “Black Beauty” is totally solid, again taking me back to the Eliot Ness era of Speakeasys & swingin’ all night long…

…be sure you SUBSCRIBE to Glenn’s YouTube channel while you’re there – he has a ton of hip videos there.

It’s the boppin’ energy on the title track, “Ain’t It Grand?“, that got my vote for personal favorite of the thirty upbeat songs on the double album… gotta’ dig out my “spats” & put on some pomade, for sure.  What distinguishes Glenn & his players from all the rest of the big bands on the scene is that they know the prime ingredient for music of the good old days – “FUN”, & they’ll give you plenty of it!

I give Glenn & his fine orchestra a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) rating of 4.98 for this great aural excursion into days of yore.  Get more information at Glenn’s website.         Rotcod Zzaj
