Intimate exciting energy Arun Shenoy and the Maverick Express – The Unplugged Songwriter Sessions

Intimate exciting energy Arun Shenoy and the Maverick Express – THE UNPLUGGED SONGWRITER SESSIONS:  Sakes alive, it’s been a bit since I reviewed Arun’s award-winning work on an album called “A Stagey Bank Affair”… he got high marks on that one, but on this new EP, things are even more exciting… but, don’t just “take my word for it“… witness it in the excellent video below…

…something new for Arun on this release, too… he sings the lead vocals, with Lonnie Park as co-lead… and they just SHINE, folks… I fell in love with this song immediately… it’s definitely “got the hook”, & you’ll find yourself playing it over and over again; excellent video production, too.  Oh, be sure you SUBSCRIBE to Arun’s YouTube channel, since you’re there already.

Another song that reaches way down deep is “Beauty in Blue“… some excellent guitar on this piece, and (again), Arun’s vocal just soars with the energy of life and the living of it!

The longest cut on the EP is “Hallelujah“, and easily won my vote for personal favorite of the five tracks offered up for your aural enjoyment… the piano lead-in is perfect, and the reverent attitude Arun projects in his vocal on the piece makes it a tune I think will be recommended for (and WIN) awards.

The EP is available in pre-sale mode now on iTunes, and will officially release on 30 August, 2018…. I give Arun and his musical colleagues a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) rating of a (perfect) 5.00… which means that he also gets my “PICK” for “most engaging vocal EP”.  Get more information as it becomes available on Arun’s website.          Rotcod Zzaj
